I just created my newest 8 page/panel booklet. A christmas gift for my grandpa about making ribs on my day off work.

Drawing roughs

Like the positive/negative space drawing charcoal is very difficult. We are drawing the cathedral in downtown St Paul and this is a giant statue of St John that I illustrated. There's much more to the image, this is just a detail and I have more work to do.

Our next Orientation to Art and Design project was to create a zine about an art movement. Aaron smith was my parter and I illustrated our cover. Neo-Expressionism was the movement assigned to us. Neo-expressionists were frustrated with gallery curators gaining the profits for artists and illustrators hard work.

We had to choose an artist for orientation to art and design and create a book about them. I chose Charles Ray and this is the cover. The inside had pictures from my drivers manual that I colorized

Weekend fun

Some friends at CVA and I are huge David Bowie fans. We heard that David Bowie is going to be a voice actor in the spongebob squarepants movie "Atlantis Squarepantis". It's going to air tonight at 9pm. Our friend Allison's birthday was today at noon. I woke up early today and cranked this card out in an hour. All of us are going to watch the movie later tonight.
